Qualifications:
- 21+ years of age
- Minimum three years active pre-hospital 9-1-1 EMS experience
- Valid driver license
- High school diploma, or its equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to lift and carry at least 200 pounds with assistance
- Basic computer use with simple data entry (emsCharts)
- Proficiency in operating emergency vehicles and related equipment
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, techniques and protocols contained in the NJ EMT-B curriculum

- Work in harmony with other EMS and public safety providers
- Establish rapport and trust with patients
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions
